Hello fellow weightloss people. It is time to get some diet myths busted! First of all I would like to say that the basic idea of losing weight is that your food should containt less calories that you burn. It is all a matter of physics. If you intake more calories than you burn, you’ll get fatter.
One of these myths is that you replace your food with meals like Mypoplex, Slimfast or Eat-smart. These are all good low fat and high-protein sources, but they cannot replace a proper diet. They should never be used more than 4 weeks in a row. Your body needs proper food, like fruit, vegetables and meat. Yes, meat is also important. All that is also true for single-food diet. Don’t go more than a few weeks with this or you will damage your system (body). A low fat, high-protein diet is very popular in Hollywood slimming industry and nearly all superstars (movie stars and singers) are using it. But it’s not healthy for you in a long term.
You should also not be afraid of potatoes, bread and pasta. Yeah, they have lots of carbohydrates. But these are actually good for you, because they will stop your hunger with lower calorie intake than other foods. What brings fat to your body are SAUSAGES or BUTTER. These are FULL OF FAT. So, maybe you should avoid them (but not all the time).
Here’s nother myth. FAT IS ABSOLUTELY BAD FOR YOU. Well, it’s NOT. The body needs some fat in order to get important fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K traveling through your system. And it bring you also an essential acid omega-3 and omega-6. These are healthy for your body.
And last but not least and this is my favourite myth is: A diet or an eating plan is enough to lose weigh - without any exercise. WRONG! Exercise is the most effective way to burn fat and extra calories that are stored in your body. Just sitting on your couch or desk chair all day long won’t do the trick. That’s why you should eat properly and exercise a lot. I recommend 3 - 4 times per week for an hour. It will do the trick!
