Why does weight loss stopThis phenomenon usually occurs in a month or so after starting your diet and may happen from time to time after that period too. During this event, your weight redction stops or slows down at least. What are the reasons for that?

Well first of all, your body may simply need a rest from calorie reduction. Secondly, you could be eating as much as your exercising, so the balance of calorie intake and outtake is the same. Or you are just eating not enough, and your body thinks there is a famine and slows down metabolism in order to conserve calories.

But how do I start losing weight again? Well, there are three steps which you can use.
First one is, you should exercise more. Go out more and walk, take a ride with your bike or do some cardio exercises at home. If you were doing 20 minutes a day and it does not work, try 30 minutes. Or intensify your exercises (faster). But watch for your eating habbits. You should eat when you’re doing exercises (before and after).

Second step is that you should not go too long without food. This can be harmful to your body and not good for your weightloss. Do not have more than 5 hour brakes between food intake.

Third one is, try to be patient. Weight loss reduction stops will eventually go away, but it takes sometimes between 1 and 4 weeks.
